We are sad to announce that on March 25, 2021, at the age of 89, Richard P. Bryant of Effingham, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lemmon and Hilda Kathryn Bryant (Smith); and his sisters, Sylvia Placidi and Eleanor Jane Downen. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Powell Bryant of Carmi, IL, Brent Powell Bryant of Belleville, IL, Darren Todd Bryant (Linda) of Florence, KY, Lisa E. Whiteside (Scott) of Shelbyville, IL and Dana L. Stone (Jeff) of Mason, IL; his sister Mary Ann Leeds of Robinson, IL; his grandchildren, Cory Voelker, Jaimee Bryant, Derek Bryant, Jordan Bryant, Jenna Koesterer, Dylan Bryant and Jonathan Bryant; and his great grandchildren, Millicent Voelker and Augustus Voelker.

Memorials may be given to HSHS Hospice in Effingham, IL and mailed to Howe and Yockey Funeral Home.
