She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Stamp and Iola Stamp (Howard); her husband Clyde Lee Janis; and her siblings, Jeannette "Bertie" Parker, Mary Ann Elrod, Charles Stamp, Lane Stamp and Burl Stamp.
She is survived by: her sons, Terry Janis (Magdalena) of Houston, TX and Howard Janis (Laura) of Effingham; her grandsons, Eric Janis, Christopher Janis (Jacklyn), Zachary Janis (Vanessa), Michael Janis (Ashley) and Jacob Janis (Carrie); and her great grandchildren, Maribel, Jameson, Michael, Luke, Jace, Jordan, Rebecca, Amelia, Lincoln, Alex, Aden, Anna and Andy Clyde. She is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home (1110 N 4th St, Effingham, IL 62401). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Arborcrest Memorial Park.
