Nichols (Effingham, Illinois), born in Texarkana, Arkansas, who passed away on November 15, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond F. Nichols and Annie Nichols (Cornett); and his grandson Michael Sanders. He is survived by: his former spouse Beverly Kay Tarr (Weaver); his wife Bev Nichols of Effingham; his children, Johnny Nichols of Maud, TX, Jerry Nichols of Maud, TX, Ranee "Nikki" Syfert (Damian) of Danville and Adam Tarr (Jennifer) of Watson; his stepchildren, Roger Tarr (Susan) of Newton, Susan Sparks (Rod) of Oblong and Kevin Tarr (Ling) of Layton, UT; and his grandchildren, Scott Sanders, Brandy Sanders, Brent Barfell, Trent Stark, Victoria Stark, Juliana Pollard, Lexi Tarr, London Tarr, Chris Tarr, Josh Tarr, Baylee Sparks and Alicia Tarr. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
