She was predeceased by: her parents, Omer S. Posey and Lola J. Posey (Ogletree); her stepfather B. L. "Slim" Hayes; her daughter Colleen King; and her siblings, Carl Posey, Thomas Myers and Trudy Davidson.
She is survived by: her sons, John Michael Brennan (David) of St. Petersburg, James Patrick Brennan (Sally) of Universal City and Ryan Brennan of The Carolinas; her siblings, James H. Hayes (Karen) of Arizona, Timothy Posey of Paris, Illinois, Elizabeth Ramsey (Dave) of Edgewood, Tammy Lester of Indiana, Teena McCosky (Joe) of Tolono and Terri Jean of Illinois; and her sister-in-law Sybille Posey of Tennessee. She is also survived by two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
