She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Swingler and Mathilda "Tillie" Swingler (Buhnerkemper); her husband John H. "Jack" Buening; her sons, Ronald "Tanker", Robert and David Buening; her son-in-law Larry Budde; and her siblings, Merita "Mickie" Tegenkamp, Mildred Vahling, Russell, Wilbert and Harold Swingler.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel of Effingham, Douglas of Mattoon, Marilyn Barding of Decatur, Lynn Keeney of Wentzville, MO, Kay Feldhake (John) of Effingham, Susan Haarmann (Henry) of Effingham, Karen Budde of Teutopolis, Shelia West (Bob) of Effingham, Jeannie Westendorf (Keith) of Teutopolis and Cheryl Gebben (Carl) of Algonquin. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and 12 step-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer's Association or to the charity of the donor's choice.
