He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Nila Byers (Don); his siblings, Robert Sapp, Gerald Sapp, Lester Sapp, Virgil Sapp and Rosemary Cox; his brothers-in-law, Gerald Johnson, Ray Nygaard, Kenneth Cox, Larry Conner and Gene Cannon; his parent-in-law Theron Conner; and also Imogene Conner.
He is survived by: his spouse Roberta Sapp of Effingham; his sons, Carl Sapp (Pam) of Dieterich, Edgewood Sapp of Dieterich and Greg Sapp (Dalena) of Dieterich; his grandchildren, Brooke Sapp of Indiana, Andrew Sapp, Charleston, Jessica Lindsey (Matthew), Hannah Sapp (Cole Stuemke) and Edgewood; his great grandchildren, Lexie Lindsey and Liam Stuemke; his siblings, Deliah Nygaard of Memphis, TN, Janine Johnson, Helen Cox, Glenda Warner, Becky Stallings (Jim), Debbie Fender and Michael Sapp (Sally) of Virginia; and his sisters-in-law, Louise Sapp, Savoy, Sharon Cannon and Brownstown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
