Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Pamela Sue Carnes Jackson of Effingham, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 73, on September 27, 2022. She was predeceased by: her mothers, Glenn F. Carnes (Shirley Carnes) and Lodene R. Carnes (Ewbank); her grandson Zachrey Ryne Jackson; and her nieces, Kristy Lynn and Holly Noel Lotz.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara (Willie Karnes) of Beecher City, Robert M. Jackson of Belleville and Daniel J. Jackson of St. Elmo; her sisters, Lynn (David Schmitt) of Vandalia, Candy (Rick Thacker) of Fredericksburg, VA, Jodie Carnes Weaver of Vandalia and Judie Carnes of McCleansboro; and her pet Dusty. She is also survived by six grandchildren; one great grandchild.
