She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Thoele and Mathilda Thoele; and her sons, Steve (Gail) and John (Nancy). She is survived by: her children, Jane Schwindenhammer (Dave), Mary Holloway (Joe), Chris (Becky) and Tim (Jill).
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bauer Funeral Home (1212 W Evergreen Ave, Effingham, IL 62401). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (101 E Virginia Ave, Effingham, IL 62401).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Anthony Scholarship Fund or Catholic Charities.
