She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Sloop and Arnetta Sloop; her sisters, Francis and Macil Karnes; and her son Michael East, Jr..

She is survived by: her sons, Christopher East (Jennifer) of Effingham and Kenny East of Effingham; her brother Bill Sloop (Barb) of Hillsboro; and her grandchildren, Macci Johnson (Caleb) of Effingham, Jordan East of Effingham, Emma Ross of Effingham, Isabella East of Effingham, Casey East (Tyler Arnold) of Sigel and Michael East of Taylorville. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the family.
