He was predeceased by: his brother Philip Mathews; and his grandparents, Clem Vogt, Shirley Vogt and Doris Vogt. He is survived by: his parents, Philip Mathews and Joyce Mathews (Vogt); his brothers, Kurt Mathews (Courtney) and Chris Mathews (Andrea Milby); his nephews, Kevin and Kolton Mathews; and his grandparents, Jim and Nancy Mathews. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
