It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Maxine McWhorter of Effingham, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 85, on November 13, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Hout and Bonnie Hout (Leith); her husband Ernest B. "Ernie" McWhorter; and her nephew Chad Wilson. She is survived by: her daughter Rhonda Griffith (Joel) of Effingham; her granddaughter Bridget Welter (Andy); her great grandchildren, Vivyona, Camdyn and Kaisyn; her sister Rita Wilson of Vermont; her niece Angie McBride (Eric) of Vermont; her great-niece Julia McBride; and her great-nephew Logan McBride. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
