She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Schoenhoff and Helen Schoenhoff (Bergfeld); her husband Lester K. Dixon; her son Craig; and her siblings, Naomi Funneman (Schoenhoff) and Gary Schoenhoff (Deloris).
She is survived by: her children, Penny Pals (late Steve) of Effingham, Brent Dixon of Humboldt and Dawn Byrum (late Gary) of Effingham; her stepdaughter Vivian Grimes of Granite City; her daughter-in-law Deanna Dixon (late Craig) of Mattoon; her grandchildren, Justin Pals, Jered Pals, Jordan Pals, Jaylin Koester, Brooke Byrum, Kiley Byrum, Larissa Byrum, Lance Dixon, Seth Dixon, Hilarie Hernandes, Haylie Dancer and Heidi Wholtman; and her brother Jack Schoenhoff of Effingham. She is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren.
