She was predeceased by: her parents, Allie Nieman and Celia Nieman (Hoene); and her brothers, Harry, Bernie and Virgil.
She is survived by: her sisters, Lucy Hewing (Tom) of Effingham and Joyce Nieman Monk (Jim) of Chicago; and her sisters-in-law, Judy Nieman and Dolores Nieman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
