She was predeceased by: her parents, Pat Garrett and Lottie Garrett (Churchill); her spouse Myrl L. "Short" McDaniel; her stepfather Frank Aldridge; her son Richard; her grandson Chris McDaniel; her sisters, Laura Bell Hentgen (Curt) and Marjorie Loftin (Pete); and her nephew Danny Heiden.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert and Michael McDaniel; her grandsons, Corey McDaniel (Heather) of Effingham and Scott McDaniel of Effingham; her great grandchildren, Brady and Ian McDaniel; her nieces, Linda Carter of Texas, Cathy Rentfrow (Sam) of Arizona and Dixie Brown (Jim) of Arizona; and her nephew Doug Heiden (Sandy) of Shumway.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Foundation or to the McDaniel Family.
