He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Brown and Doris Brown (Rathgeber); his granddaughter Peyton Renea Siner; his brothers, Ronald Brown and Larry "Lug" Brown; his sisters-in-law, Loleta Brown and Sarah Brown; and his niece Kelly Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Brown of Effingham; his daughters, Tonya Brown Siner of Effingham and Shelby Overbeck (Kurt) of Effingham; his grandsons, Patrick, Parker, Preston Siner and Karter Overbeck; his pet L. J.; his brothers, Galen Brown of Effingham, Jerry "Jug" Brown (Angela) of Sebring, FL, Noble "Bo" Brown of Trilla, Dennis Brown of Effingham and Royce Brown of Effingham; and his sisters-in-law, Betty A. Brown of Effingham and Betty B. Brown of Effingham. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
