It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lisa Pemberton of Effingham, Illinois, born in Granite City, Illinois, who passed away on September 25, 2021, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Shelton and Sarah Shelton (Markham); and her sister Barbara Kennerly. She is survived by: her husband Larry Pemberton Jr. of Effingham; her children, Heather Stamer (Dan) of St. Charles, MO, Andria Verdeyen (Doug) of Effingham, Emma Dasenbrock (Randy) of Stewardson, Tisha Greuel (Tyler) of Stewardson, Hannah Pemberton of Effingham, Kyle Pemberton of Effingham and Kaden Pemberton of Effingham; her grandchildren, Maia, Kannon, Daelynn, Gavin, Cooper Stamer, Blayzz, Carter Verdeyen, Chloe, Beau Dasenbrock, Tanor Pemberton, Sophi, Zoey and Taylor Greuel; her siblings, Karren Baker (Joe), Donna Ashbaugh (Wally) and Fred Shelton (Barbara); and her brother-in-law Allen Kennerly. She is also survived by thirteen grandkids.
