He was predeceased by: his daughter Katherine Frances; his parents, Michael Bierman of Effingham, IL and Marie Bierman of Effingham, IL; and his sister Lois Ludwig of St. Louis, MO.. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Williams Bierman; his daughters, Jeanna Nix (Conrad) of Pompano Beach, FL and Karena J. Bierman; his grandchildren, Sebastian Van Tassel of Middleton, WI, Townes Leonard Bierman and Casas of Evanston, IL; and his sisters, June Cheatum of Effingham, IL and Susan Andes of Effingham, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
