She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar "Buck" Wade and Sylvia Wade (Lorton); and her siblings, Ronald Wade, Dorothy Sparks, Mary Swisher, Florence Beck and Loretta Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Ted Zackro of Effingham; her children, Vicki Kirk (Jeff) of Herrick and James Newberry of Montrose; her grandchildren, Ashley Cervi (Dylan), Mistique Kirk, Savannah Kirk, Ian Kirk (Reaghan Vaughn) and Wade Newberry; her great grandchildren, Evelynn Cervi, Cooper Kirk, Everhett Cervi and Aria Cervi; and her siblings, Keith Wade (Kathy) and Kay Ping (Jim). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In Laura's memory, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, an organization close to her heart.
