He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Wattelet and Rachel Wattelet (Davis); his parents-in-law, Dr. Thomas and Oreta Wise; his daughter-in-law Debra Williams-Wattelet; and his brother-in-law Don Jenkins.
He is survived by: his wife Beth Wattelet of Effingham; his sons, Kevin Wattelet (Libby Cox) of O'Fallon, MO and Scott Wattelet (Lora) of Troy, MO; his grandchildren, Kent, Lillian Wattelet, Trinity and Riley Williams; his siblings, Paul Wattelet (Midge) of Oak Brook, IL and Annette Jenkins of Carmel, IN; and his brother-in-law Craig Wise (Cynthia) of Effingham, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Order of the Eastern Star of Illinois Educational Assistance or Centenary United Methodist Church.
