We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2023, at the age of 34, Kirsten Leigh Chitwood of Effingham, Illinois, born in Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Tracy Painter (Roberts); and her grandparents, Norma Roberts, Bob and June Leckrone. She is survived by: her father Richard Painter; her sisters, Jamie Stephens (Ross) and Rickie Painter; her nieces, Kaytlynn Roberts and Karsyn Gouchenouer; her great-nephew Xaiden Gouchenouer; and her grandparents, Harold Roberts, Paul, Eileen Chitwood, Herman, Vera Painter and Chris Chitwood.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
