He is survived by: his sons, Jeremy Sandy of Dix, Illinois and Alex Sandy of Dix, Illinois; his stepgranddaughter Kyleigh Sinclair; his close friend Barb Huffman of Effingham, Illinois; and his siblings, Tammy Fields, Ron Sandy (Christy) and Rhonda McDonnough. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
