Kenneth M. Kinkelaar Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth M. Kinkelaar of Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on January 24, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kinkelaar and Bernadine Kinkelaar (Nacke); his sisters, Jean Buzzard and Floss Marten; his siblings-in-law, Dick Marten, Tom Miller, Clete Goeckner and Barb Kinkelaar; his nephews, Roy Goeckner and Tom Williams; and his niece Sandy Kelly.
He is survived by: his children, Shari Kinkelaar (Joe Groves) of Marion, Jason Kinkelaar (Aimee) of Broomfield, CO, Kristina Purvis (Russell) of Jackson, TN and Kevin Kinkelaar of Effingham; his grandchildren, Nyjah Purvis, Aidan Kinkelaar and Violet Kinkelaar; his siblings, George Kinkelaar of Holbrook, AZ, Greg Kinkelaar of Wright City, MO, Annie Miller of Teutopolis and Judy Goeckner of Effingham; his brother-in-law Clyde Buzzard; his nieces and nephews, Joey Groves (Katie), Katy McCree (Evan), Megan Groves and Malakai Purvis; and his friend Jerry Miller of Effingham.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there will be a remembrance mass or celebration of life gathering at a later date.
Memorial donations may be given to the activities fund at the Veterans Home of Anna, Illinois or to Catholic Charities in Effingham.
