It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Longwell of Effingham, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 21, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph P. Longwell and Lucille Longwell (Lewis); his wife Shirley Hoffmeister; and his brother Patrick Longwell. He is survived by: his children, John and Lisa Roberson (Kevin) of Altamont; and his brother Thomas Longwell (Jeanette) of Murfreesboro, TN.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
