It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kenneth C. Koester of Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on July 8, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Koester and Helen Koester (Donsbach); and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Koester; and his children, Kathy Van Sant (Ted), Steve, Mark Koester (Deb), Jean Fearday (Jeff), Jane Storm (Doug), Karen Flach (Tony), Dan Koester (Norma), Mary Antrim (Dave), Becky Howard (Scott) and Paula McGuire (Tom). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 15 step-great-grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to St. Anthony Church or Willow Breeze Hospice House.
