He is survived by: his son Chad Petard (LaKrisha) of Wheeler, Illinois; his sister Sidney McWhorter (Rich) of Folkston, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Lukas Petard of Neoga, Illinois. and Riley Bridgman of Neoga, Illinois..
