It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Keith Harold Bahrns of Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on September 27, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid Keith Harold farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Keith Harold is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Bahrns and Violet Bahrns (Wendte); his brothers, Dennis Bahrns (Mary) of Neoga and Alan Bahrns (Julie) of Effingham; his wife Patsy Crites; and his children, Nathan, Elizabeth and Scott (Jennifer). He was also cherished by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and their children.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (901 W Jefferson Ave, Effingham, IL 62401). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or St. John's Food Pantry.
