It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Sue Nelson of Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on July 3, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kay Glisson and Norman Glisson; her spouse Denton Nelson; and her brother Deon Brown. She is survived by: her children, Debra Lucas (Wayne) of Louisville, IL, Denise Mason (Dennis) of Watson, IL, Paul "Butch" Nelson (Lori) of Effingham, IL and Tina Hunter (Jim) of Vandalia, IL; and her brother Virgil "Butch" Glisson of De Soto, IL.. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
