We bid farewell to John F. Soucie of Effingham, Illinois, born in Kankakee, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 7, 2024 at the age of 82. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Soucie and Darlene Soucie (Betourne); his sister Janet (Dennis); and his children, Jeri Lynn and Jay.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Currie; his children, Joseph (Abby), Jeffrey (Jeri-Lyn), James (Karen), Julie and Jeanne (Scott); and his siblings, David, Robert (Susan), James (Barb), Carol (Charlie), Rae, Mary (Jackson) and Betsy. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
