It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Carpenter of Effingham, Illinois, born in Mattoon, Illinois, who passed away on March 13, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Carpenter and Gladys Carpenter (Cooley); and his siblings, David Carpenter and Joyce Ann Carpenter. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Connie Carpenter.
