With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jim Ashley of Effingham, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ed, Donna Ashley, Justice and Loleta Hutson; his uncles, Jim Ashley and Danny Kelton; and his aunt Debbie Kelton.
He is survived by: his parents, Richard Ashley (Mary Ashley) and Cheri Ashley (Julie Brugh); his children, Scottie Ashley and Greyson Ashley; his siblings, Amy Ashley (Brandon Wininger), Donna Ashley (Bruce Reeves), Juli Mietzner (Nathan Mietzner), Glen Webb Jr., Eric Webb (Debbie Moore) and Justin Webb; and his grandmother Doris Hammel. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews; several aunts and uncles; and numerous friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bauer Funeral Home (1212 W Evergreen Ave, Effingham, IL 62401). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
