We are sad to announce that on October 27, 2023, at the age of 80, Jerry Moon of Effingham, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Moon and Opal Moon; his siblings, Evelyn Flowers, Eileen Dukeman, Bob, Jim and Charlie Moon; his parent-in-law Shirley Thoele; his daughters, Gina Rittschof (Scott), Jennifer Niebrugge (Ronnie) and Lynette Petre (Greg); his grandchildren, Lexie Boggs (Dylan), Madison, Brendan Niebrugge, Shea Rittschof, Gwyneth and Eloise Petre; his great grandchildren, Easton and Keaton Boggs; and his wife Shirley of Moon's Sinclair.
Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart or St. Anthony Schools.
