She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvan Allegree and Dora Allegree (Fox) of Vincennes, Indiana.; her son Chad Evan; and her brother Denny Allegree. She is survived by: her husband Orville "Scoop" Merry; her son Neal (Sheri) of Carthage; her grandchildren, Trisha Himmel (Jared) of Troy, MO and Dalton (Emily) of Cabot, AR; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Bentley and Payton.
Memorial donations may be given to the Effingham County Humane Society.
