He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Jones and Betty Louise Jones (Brown); and his parents-in-law, Howard Keith and Lorna Mae Green. He is survived by: his wife Paula Jones of Effingham; his sons, Ryan Jones (Janet), Justin Jones (Michelle) and Jared Jones (Laura); his grandchildren, Levi (Hannah), Larisa, Rusty, Dillon Ruholl (Reneé), Wyatt, Ethan, Emma, Lula and Miri; his great grandchildren, Lenora, Natalie Ruholl and Baby Jones; and his siblings, Connie Huddleston (Jim), Carol Ann Crothers (Earl), Robert Jones (Jill) and Julie Moore (Kevin).
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (1110 N 4th St, Effingham, IL 62401). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Haven of St. Elmo-Hospice Room, Visiting Angels, or donor's choice.
