He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Magnus and Ella Magnus (Graumenz); his daughter Nancy Kingery; his brother Lavern; his sister-in-law Esther Magnus; his sisters, Arlene Lee (Charles), Malinda Hinton (Orville) and Helen Magnus; and his siblings-in-law, Marvin Tonn (Mary), Albert Tonn (Cindy) and Esther Webster.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Anna Magnus (Tonn); his children, Allen Magnus (Lody) of St. Peter, IL, Carolyn Boldt (Ron) of Stewardson, IL and Shelley Young (Joel) of Farina, IL; his sister Dolores Ford (Darrell) of Tuscola, IL; and his son-in-law Gary Kingery of Elgin, IL. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may go to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Lutheran Care Center, or donor's choice.
