He was predeceased by: his parents, John Draper Stroud and Ruby Stroud (Kirkham); his wife Karen Stroud (Tipsword); his stepfather Norbert Kenter; his brother Charles Stroud; and his brother-in-law Ronald Rentfrow.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Moschenrose (Mark), John Stroud (Amanda) and Holly Finney (Ryan); his grandchildren, Al DiGregorio (Cassie), Jakob Stroud, Nick Martin, Avery Stroud, Owen and Zoey Finney; his great grandchildren, Kayliann, Miabella and Gretchen DiGregorio; and his sister Janet Rentfrow. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Church, Effingham County Sheriff's Department, or the Effingham County Sportsman's Club and may be received at Johnson Funeral Home, 1110 N. Fourth Street, Effingham, IL 62401.
