Helen V. Wakefield Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen V. Wakefield (Effingham, Illinois), who passed away on March 28, 2020 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles A. Scurlock and Orpha Scurlock (Winterrowd); her husband Edward Dexter Wakefield; and her brothers, Omar and Noble Scurlock.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas E. (Kim) of Stewardson, Sandra L. Piccone (Dennis) of Murfreesboro, TN and Brenda K. Evans (Dick) of Effingham. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
