She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Blackwell and Lucy Blackwell (Thompson); her former husband Joseph Smith; her husband Joe; and her siblings, Ruth Maxine Blackwell, Agness Butts, Bobbie Lee Blackwell, Billy Blackwell, Clifford Blackwell, Tom Blackwell and Gary Blackwell.
She is survived by: her siblings, Harry Blackwell (Vera), Ella Ann Starkey (Bob) and Connie McAllister (Mac); and her sister-in-law Connie Blackwell (late Gary). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church or to the family.
