It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Ray Habbe of Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on January 1, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Habbe and Helena Habbe (Traub); his son Rande Habbe; his siblings, Alvin, Dean, Kenneth, Farrell, Ronnie, Doris and Dorothy; his parents-in-law, Loren and Eileen Woods; and his brother-in-law Terry Woods.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Habbe of Effingham; his daughter Vicki Manford (Rick) of Effingham; his granddaughter Lindsey Stewart (Nick) of Effingham; his great grandchildren, Hunter of Effingham, Mason of Effingham and Max Stewart of Effingham; his sister Joyce Wolfe of Galesburg; and his siblings-in-law, Ronnie Woods (Susie) of Flora and Linda Young of Flora. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
