Gerald P. Stock Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald P. Stock of Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on September 25, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Stock and Mae Stock (McDevitt); his son Phillip; his siblings, George, Bill and Loretto Sigrist; and his grandsons, Derek McWhorter and Brandon Stock.
He is survived by: his wife Pat of Effingham; his children, Richard of Effingham, Leann Pickel (Paul) of Owaneco and Donna McWhorter (Jeff) of Strasburg; his daughter-in-law Cindy Stock of Effingham; and his grandchildren, Jady Friese (A. J.), Casey Esker (Brad), Louis McWhorter (Natalee), Jordan Stock (Tori), Miranda Kemp (Chad) and Kayla Richmond (Jason). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Memorial donations may be given to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or to the charity of the donor's choice.
