He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. McWhorter and Thelma L. McWhorter (Campton); and his siblings, Lonnie McWhorter, Jim McWhorter and Eda Cook.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry G. McWhorter, Theresa Campbell (Brett) of Dieterich and Mindy Sizemore (Shane) of Colon, Michigan; his stepchildren, Crystal Lovett (Brian) of Edgewood and Jake Kramer of Watson, Illinois; and his siblings, Billy McWhorter (Patty) of Xenia, Larry McWhorter (Brenda) of Dieterich, Illinois, Leona Butts of Michigan, Lucille Tarpley of Flora and Cleta Colclasure of Farina, Illinois. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
