It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Allyn Rahe of Effingham, Illinois, born in Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on January 2, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Rahe and Maxine Rahe (Lakamp). He is survived by: his wife Francie Rahe of Effingham; his children, Shawn Etchason of Jonesboro, Tangela Brooks (Rob Dailey) of Tuscola and Ryan Rahe of Ocala, FL; his grandchildren, Alexander Brooks of Tuscola, Jordan Rahe of Ocala, FL and Dominic Rahe of Ocala, FL; and his siblings, Roni Ohare (Jerry), Jim Rahe (Sharon), Dennis Rahe, Arnie Rahe (Connie), Mike Rahe, Gordon Rahe (Keli), Patti Peterson (Greg) and Kurt Rahe (Dana).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Tuscola Warrior Football.
