He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Eugene Jr. and Barbara Jean Myers (Garrett); his siblings, Peggy Jolene Myers, Carla Jean Myers and Douglas Myers (Theresa); and his granddaughter Addyson Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Myers of Effingham; his children, Kasey Strange (Major) of Noble and Zachary "Zach" Myers of Effingham; his grandchildren, Maggie, Kayle, Ryan, Keagan and Evelyn; his brothers, Randall "Randy" Myers (Deanna) of Effingham, Jeffrey "Jeff" Myers (Tammy) of Effingham and Michael "Mike" Myers (Roni) of Falmouth; and his foster brother Paul Eatherton (Dana) of Kinmundy.
