We are sad to announce that on June 12, 2024, at the age of 96, Frederick M. Moore of Effingham, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Frederick M. may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 17th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home (1110 N 4th St, Effingham, IL 62401). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, June 17th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (405 S Henrietta St, Effingham, IL 62401).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Sacred Heart Grade School.
