Frank B. Koester Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frank B. Koester (Effingham, Illinois), who passed away on July 14, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Koester and Ruth Koester (Wendt); his son Robert E. Koester; his grandson Justin R. Koester; his brother Charles "Chuck" Koester; and his father-in-law Jewel Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Avery (Walker) of Dieterich; his children, Shanta Pruemer (Larry) of Teutopolis, Vicki Cripps (David) of Effingham, Robin Fowler of Columbia, TN, Frank (Kelly) of Port St, Tim Avery of Effingham and Nick Avery (Teresa) of Newton; and his siblings, Mark "Tony" (Mary Jane) of Teutopolis, Dan (Kathy) of Effingham, Aaron Koester (Julie) of Effingham, Mary Ann Sanders (Richard) of Effingham and Joyce Wente (Mike) of Teutopolis. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be given to the Effingham D.A.V. Chapter 7.
