She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Braun and Mary Braun (Bushur); her husband William Peters; her son-in-law Lloyd Wood; her grandson Joshua Wood; and her siblings, Geneva Schwermin, Ernest Braun and Robert Braun.
She is survived by: her children, William Peters Jr. (Nancy) of Wildwood, MO, Sue Wood of Effingham, Tim Peters (Christy) of Plano, TX, Rick Peters (Karen) of Chapel Hill, TN and Patrick Peters (Shelley) of Argyle, TX; her sisters, Helen Zimmerman of Hillsboro and Virginia "Tiny" Kilborn of Springfield; and her sister-in-law Joan Braun of Mattoon. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild.
