Eugene H. Westendorf Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene H. Westendorf of Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on June 25, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Westendorf and Clara Westendorf (Niemerg); his siblings, Roger, Ralph, Lorraine Jones and Olivia Will; his parents-in-law, Aloysius and Frances Haarmann; and his siblings-in-law, Raymond Jones, Pete Will, Roscoe Miller, Alberta Westendorf, Louis, Florence Goldstein, Eugene, Pauline Probst, Albert Haarmann, Aloysius Haarmann, Laura Haarmann and Clarence Kemme.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille Haarmann; his children, Dale (Ellen), Tom (Rosalie), Terry (Robin), Christy Bales (Dave), Lori Bushue (Steve), Linda Tharp (Jay), Becky Wenthe (Kevin), Scott (Christa), Leon (Jennifer) and Ted (Jessica); his siblings, Adeline Miller and George Westendorf (Jeanette); and his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Haarmann, Charlene Westendorf and Verena Kemme. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Anthony Schools or the Lincoln Land Honor Flight.
