He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Klitzing and Elenora Klitzing (Ziegler); his wife Dorothy Heuerman; his stepchildren, Daniel Heuerman and Lisa McIntyre; and his siblings, Laverne Koeberlein, Bernice Schroeder, Edgar Klitzing, Milton Klitzing and Delmar Klitzing.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Linda Sweetland of Effingham, Judy Amacher of Effingham, Jerry Heuerman (Lisa) of Teutopolis, Richard Heuerman (Jane) of Tiplersville, MS, James Heuerman of Teutopolis, Donna Roedl (Rick) of Effingham, Wayne Heuerman of Fairfax, MO, Darlene Detmer of Effingham, Barbara Shelton (Danny) of Effingham and Roger Heuerman (Martha) of Oklahoma City, OK. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and step grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the donors choice.
