With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward W. Sheffield of Effingham, Illinois, born in Amory, Mississippi, who passed away on June 27, 2022 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Sheffield and Bettie Sheffield; his parents-in-law, Bob Ledger and Nancy Ledger; and his niece Abbigail Sheffield.
He is survived by: his wife Cathi Sheffield of Effingham; his children, Melissa Delphey (Brian) of Sandwich, IL, Penny Burt (Bill) of Monticello, MN, Patty Day (Kris) of Effingham, IL, Lindsay Williams (Emilio) and Rick Williams (Cassie) of Effingham; his grandchildren, Brock, Casey Delphey, James Burt, Hailey, Makenna Wright, Lilly, Tristian, Kris Jr., Eliza, Gavin Day, Dawson, Sophia Williams, Laela, Jenner, Henley Keyes, Asher Snyder, Saige Endebrock, Emily and Ezra Cruz; and his siblings, Linda Rieman (Bob), Carolyn Olson (Keith), Tony Sheffield (Vicki), Kathe Schlapp (Dave), Danny Sheffield (Kelly) and Bob Sheffield (Lisa). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
