He is survived by: his wife Kate of Effingham; his sons, Joe (Leslie) of Effingham, Paul of Herrin, Mike of Van Buren, AR, Tony (Beth) of Golconda and Mark of Carbondale; his siblings, Judy Fuesting (Donald) of Laurel Hill, FL, Frank Eckert (Lethia) of Sellersburg, IN, Jane Barnes (Arvil) of Niceville, FL, Cindy Kleehamer (Donnie) of Sellersburg, IN and Mary Lou Rager (Denny) of Sellersburg, IN; his grandchildren, Brock Eckert, Levi Eckert, Seth Kline, Chelsea Kline, Vincent Eckert, Katie Eckert, Menno Eckert, Edrick Eckert, Jakob Eckert and Jorjanna Eckert; and his great grandchildren, Holden Kline, Hadleigh Kline, John Eckert and Sarah Eckert.
