She was predeceased by: her husband Sgt. Arnold A. Whitt; her children, Donald Whitt and Elizabeth Whitt; her children-in-law, Kathleen Whitt and Orville Alwardt; her grandson Brandon Whitt; and her siblings, Susan Laverick (Carter), Gladys Jones (Carter), Eliza Laverick (Carter), Alfred "Alf" Carter and William John Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Arnold E. Whitt (Donna) of Flora, Ralph Whitt of Farina, David Whitt (Dianne) of Stewardson, Edna Eileen Huelsmann (Ronald) of Breese, Michael Whitt (Janice) of Pinckneyville, Jean Alwardt of Farina and Jenni Heiens (Alan) of Farina; her daughter-in-law Kate Whitt of Merrill, Wisconsin; and her grandchildren, Michelle Galbraith (Greg), Edward Whitt, Amanda Schmidtke (Robert), Sara Meunier (Dusty), Alan Whitt (Karen), Julie Hodges (Barry), Dr. Justin Whitt (Amy), Sabrina Whitt, Jacelyn Kunzeman (Fred), Debra Walters, Amy Huelsmann, Zach Heimrich, Oceana Whitt-Gillett (Tyler) and Dakota. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 2 step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
